Three brothers took a long journey from Greece to build a better life in Canada. After a few hardworking years they managed to scrimp and save enough money to start their own restaurant venture.
Today's Aris Place originated as Teddy's Burgers - a place to meet up with friends and relax while enjoying a great meal. Teddy's gained popularity with the people of Roncesvalles as the local cozy spot with a jukebox on each table and a friendly atmosphere. After only three years in business Teddy's underwent an expansion and renovations; it's appearance was dramatically changed and it's menu updated and improved with legendary dishes, and that's when Aris Place was born.
Over 30 years later, after the retirement of two brothers, the remaining brother John, with the help of his family and great staff continues to serve the Community and keep the memories that have grown with the establishment. Aris Place features an open concept kitchen and a variety of heartwarming meals on the menu. Aris Place is known to the community for serving a great breakfast, along with delicious lunches and dinners; all at reasonable prices. The tradition of delivering a friendly atmosphere and home-style cooking to the people of Roncesvalles is continued.
